PERFECTION DRIVEN BY PASSION

Alexandru Iacob discovered his passion for gastronomy at an early age, in his childhood. He was born in Iasi and is one of the only two young Romanians who graduated the renowned university Basque Culinary Center in Spain. The skills gained during his studies were put into practice first abroad, in countries such as Spain, Germany or Austria, where he had the opportunity to cook even for local celebrities. Recently returned to Romania, Alexandru Iacob stood out among the talents of the avant-garde cooking by winning the second edition of the prestigious competition show Top Chef. Ever since 2014, he has been leading the entire culinary team of the Manasia Domain aiming to raise any dish to perfection.

Using the freshest ingredients of the season, Chef Alexandru Iacob deconstructs famous dishes and then he recomposes them by using complex techniques, paying full attention to each and every detail, just like an architect. Beside the revamped recipes, you can also enjoy other gourmet delights imagined by our Chef and prepared each time with organic vegetables and spices from the estate’s own garden.
